Tippy Toes and TwirlsA precious first dance class experience in Saratoga Springs
Sing, move and twirl to the songs your kid already loves.
Tippy Toes is C3’s first dance class for toddlers and preschoolers - a playful, follow-along introduction to moving to music. Grown-ups are welcome on the floor, so it works as a Mommy and Me class too.
A first step into dance
No routines to learn and nothing to get right. Kids follow along, copy a few simple moves, wiggle, freeze, spin and start to feel the beat.
Along the way they pick up the things a first class is really for: rhythm, coordination, listening, taking a turn and being part of a group. Mostly, they learn that dancing is fun.
If your kiddo throws living room dance parties, this is the class for them.
What to expect
Every class is short, silly and built for little attention spans:
- Music they know Moana, Taylor Swift, KPop Demon Hunters and the kids’ classics - the songs that already get them moving at home.
- Follow-along moves Coach leads, kids copy. Marching, jumping, twirling and freezing, one simple move at a time.
- Props and games Scarves, freeze dance and follow-the-leader keep it playful while they practice listening and taking turns.
- Grown-ups welcome Stay on the floor and dance along, or cheer from the side once your kid is ready to go it alone. Parents, grandparents and caregivers all count.
Good to know
- What to wear Comfy clothes they can move in, plus clean sneakers or bare feet. No costume, no special shoes.
- No potty training required Come as you are. Grown-ups are right there if anyone needs a break.
- If they cry or just watch Totally normal, especially the first few weeks. Watching is participating at this age. Most kids join in once the music starts.
